This website is a resource for Magicdust Website Sales. It is a showcase of websites designed and hosted by Magicdust.
The Purpose
The Rolodex is designed for you to quickly find websites suitable to the client you are consulting with. Clients will always relate to sample websites that are similar to their industry or designed to the look and feel they are after. It is suggested you send at least three live websites from a related industry to your prospect during the sales process. Matching it to the style they are after is an added bonus and will help the client more fully understand the product they are buying.
How It Works
There are three ways to search the Rolodex:
Filter by categories
- Using the categories menu start by clicking the package the client is interested in, either eWeb or eShop.
- This will filter the showcase and only show websites in that package.
- Then you can further search within the package by clicking the industry related to your client.
- If you would like to select the industry first, the showcase will display only websites from that industry and you can further filter if required.
- Y0u can use the minus (-) to remove a filter with a search.
- Click Reset at the bottom of the categories list to reset the showcase.
Search by Business Name
- Using the search field at the top of the sidebar you can type in the name of a business.
- You will generally use this to find a website you know and want to bring up.
Search By Tag
- There is a search tag cloud which groups certain kinds of themes together, eg. vintage, feminine, minimalist, etc.
- Simply click on the link in the tag area and the filter will apply. The larger the word, the more samples are in the tag.
Demo Websites
- The two packages each have their own demo website.
- Click on the category _Demo at the bottom of the categories sidebar and you will find them.
- This is available for the client to see the front and back end of the the website.
- Clients can login to the admin panel with the username and password supplied and test drive the CMS ( Content Management System).
